Is there anything like a good primary day? (Except for Election Day)
Our team spent Tuesday, May 24, with our Georgia clients and let me tell you, we saw some great things.
Team members working and buzzing around to make sure that every “t” was crossed and every “i” dotted. It was absolutely amazing to see all of the hard work coming out of these campaigns to work toward success. It was also a joy to watch as our CXC team jumped right in to help. From sign twirling to door-knocking to phone banking, we were there until the end to make sure that our candidates and their teams felt supported.
It is no small feat to run for office, and being an agency that can help candidates run and then support them on Election Day reminds us exactly why we do this work. We are here to create a more equitable future by crafting innovative communications that empower our progressive candidates. And, in Georgia, we did just that.
While some of the elections did not move forward as we had planned and hoped for, we are very confident that our clients will continue to be changemakers, not just in their communities, but beyond.
After wrapping up our Georgia primary day, let’s all be very honest about the future; There is much work left to be done. We have to continue to fight and work to make change. It does not come easy and, as far as we are concerned, it never will. And we plan to continue our commitment to our clients and be with them through it all.
Working to support those that are fighting to make a difference will only push our CXC team to make a difference as well. We have many more days ahead that echo the work that was done in Georgia, and we want you all to know that we plan to keep making room for voices in this space and putting those voices through a loudspeaker in their pieces.
We will leave you with this:
“Today is your opportunity to build the tomorrow you want.” – Ken Poirot
Finally, don’t wait until things are unbearable to jump into action. Start the work today that creates an equitable future for all people.
