Our team has grown! We have welcomed 2 new team members, Laura Watson and Jeff Gamez. Each brings new exciting insight to our world of politics and we are happy they are here!

Laura has a background in helping elect Democratic candidates to office. In college, she worked with the Michigan Democratic Party as a field organizer in 2020. That passion carried over to her work as the communications director for Cerssandra McPherson, for whom she put her background to work in 2021. Recently, Laura made the big move from Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Atlanta, Georgia. In her free time, Laura likes to solve crossword puzzles, pick out the next book in her collection to dive into, and explore local hiking trails. 

Jeff is excited to be jumping into the political pond. His background in research and communication will join together the talents of the rest of the team to help candidates across the country. Originally from Costa Rica, Jeff came to the United States in 2006, becoming a first-generation American and the first in his family to graduate from college. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he dedicated himself to research in global history and communication studies. Outside of work, he spends his time with his dog and cat, tends to his garden, and reads medieval fantasies. It is his dream to one day write a series that will stand with the great works of Tolkien and Martin.

We are so excited to have them join our team. Jeff and Laura will be helping us in multiple areas of the business. The biggest area though, as a surprise to no one, is copywriting. We strive to put out some of the best quality mail pieces every cycle and we know that they will both help us achieve that goal. 

So join us in welcoming Jeff and Laura to our team! We have a lot of work ahead and we can’t wait to share more as the year continues.
